I just wanted to apologise for not emailing to confirm the last meeting was still going ahead, as I know some may have assumed it wasn’t on due to lockdown coming into place that week, and not attended. Support groups are allowed to go ahead with limited numbers even during lockdown; however, if anything changes with government guidelines or the Quaker Meeting House, we will let you know. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
On a positive note, we have had some new members in the last few months, which has been great. We would be happy to hear your feedback and anyone else’s (good or bad) to help improve the support we give. Any ideas for topics for future meetings are always welcome! I also wanted to thank those that have signed up to easyfundraising. We have raised enough in the quarter to be paid £29.18, which is more or less the equivalent of one month’s room hire. Thank you, everyone! Easyfundraising donates money to charitable organisations when you do your normal online shopping on certain websites. I use it mainly with eBay and Amazon, but there are lots of websites that are part of it. If you would like to support us and help raise more, you can sign up at-
Please note on your phone; you need to access the websites via the app. On your laptop, you can set up a reminder, so it tells you when you go on a donating website.
